Magazine Ad
This is my add for Tostitos. I used many famous athletes to show a connection between the consumer and the product and the product. The ad also featured many cars as they catch the eye and draw attention to the ad. When people see this ad they picture themselves driving the car and the associate the product with there happiness. I also had itch cream to guarantee to the consumers that this product would not make them itchy
Windshield Ad
This is my one page windshield ad. I am advertising the grand opening of a community pool. For the writing on top I used word art to make the letters appers as if they are in or composed of water. I also used a picture of Eric Cartman from South Park swimming in a pool. For the speech bubble, I used the tools in photoshop to insert a shape, and inserted the speech bubble. Then I made the lines on the sppech bubble thicker, and used the fill tool to make the specch buuble white. Then i inserted a text box into the speech bubble to typ what Eric was saying,
Magazine Face
This is a representation of my face using magazine clippings. First we took pictures of our faces then uploaded them to the computer. I then made my face black and white and went searching for magazine pictures to represent my face. I found a tire to represent my hair because of the tire's shape and color. I then found a picture of Tom Brady because he is one of my favorite athletes. Lastly I found a picture for the game Fallout 3 and I used it because it is one of my favorite video games. I then put those pictures on the computer and on to my face. Once on the computer, I used the notepaper and plastic tools to make my face the way it is.
Thayer Street Side 1
This is the first side of my Thayer Street informational brochure. I used the template of men's apparel in designing my brochure. For this project, we were asked to create a brochure detailing a service offered on Thayer Street in Providence Rhode Island. My group and I were given men's apparel. On Thayer Street, we walked around and visited the different shops that had men's apparel. We gathered information on how they made their product seem appealing to the consumer. I used a combination of clip art pictures that I formated in photoshop, and pictures i found online to make my product seem appealing. Doing this product i learned that created and marketing products to make them seem appealing is very challenging. If i were to do this project again, i would have used more time in formatting my pictures and my font.
Thayer Street Side 2
This is the secomd page of my Thayer Steet informational brochure. I used many pictures and logos to draw attention to the stores on Thayer street. The stores I had were Urban Outfitters, City sports, and Berk's Shoes. I used the same tools as the first page but I sed the tools on the store's logos and a picture of Thayer Street.
